Classroom News: December 6, 2017
Gingerbread Houses
This Friday, December 8, we will be decorating Gingerbread Houses. Thank you to Mrs. Olson and Mrs. Myers for making the houses for us! We will decorate houses during our normal center time from 9:15-10:30. Parents are welcome to join us. This is always a fun activity and I look forward to it!
Assessments
I will be doing assessments with students next week and Mrs. Diemert, our literacy specialist, will be asking each child to read for her. At this time of year, we expect children to be reading at level 2 or level B. I am eager to see how much the children have learned!
Polar Express
Next Friday, December 15, we will watch The Polar Express at school. It will be a pajama day! We will have popcorn and hot cocoa during the movie. The book and movie are absolutely terrific and I look forward to sharing both with the class next week!
Winter Break
We will be on Winter break from December 18-January 2. Enjoy the time with friends and family!
