Classroom News: March 19, 2018

I can hardly believe it is almost Spring Break.  Remember that Spring break starts on Friday, March 23 (our last day of school this week is Wednesday, March 21).  We will return to school on Monday, April 2.

April is a VERY busy month!   

Wednesday, April 4 is a Late Start day.  School will start at 11:30 and we will go straight to lunch. 

Friday, April 6 the Storyteller will visit with fun stories!

Friday, April 13, Ecocycle will visit to teach us about the importance of recycling.

Monday, April 16 Expert Presentations begin!  You should have received a letter explaining Expert Presentations and letting you know when your child is scheduled to give their presentation.  If you need more information, let me know.  

Wednesday, April 18 is our Field Trip to Boulder Dinner Theater to see Robinson Crusoe.

Friday, April 20, the Denver Botanic Gardens will visit to teach us about plants. 

Friday, April 27 we will have our Multicultural Feast.  Each family is invited and encouraged to bring in one food dish that represents their family's heritage. My family is Irish, so I will bring corned beef and cabbage. 

And then it is May and the last month of school!  Wow!
