Happy First Day of Kindergarten!

We had a wonderful first day of kindergarten!  The children learned where to hang their backpacks, we practiced kindergarten coloring, read the book The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn, did a sequencing activity about the story, and did handprints to take home.  The children learned how to use the balls as seats safely.  We went out to the big playground for recess, and enjoyed some free time in the classroom.  It was a BUSY day! 

In the future, I would like to include some photos of the children on this blog.  If you do not want your child photographed for this, please let me know. 

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again tomorrow!  Remember that tomorrow is picture day!  If you want to purchase pictures, please send the order form and money tomorrow.
